Highly impressed with this torch, came nearly fully charged with an included cable. The power button glows red while charging and green when fully charged. I tested how long the torch lasted, on full power it lasted for 4 1/2 hours for me. I found the beam to be very bright, and can be easily adjusted to a spot light. The other 3 settings will extend battery life considerably lower beam brightness lasted 15 1/2 hrs also has a strobe light and an SOS signal. I initially found the switch tricky to use, I couldn't easily turn it on with my thumb using the torch one handed. However quickly found holding it with thumb and middle finger and using my index finger solved this minor problem. Very small and compact, can easily fit in any pocket including small trouser pockets. Has no bulge, unlike other torches with a spot light function. Am buying more for myself and as presents for family and friends.

The media could not be loaded. Some context, I was looking for a LED torch to satisfy three key aspects... 1. Price, 2. Utility in how flexible it can be used and handled 3. Detecting the perennial pests themselves, bed bugs. So I took a gamble with this Blukar LED Torch. £7 for an LED Torch seemed too good to be true at first, especially with the features advertised. Powerful light? Rechargeable? Zoomable lens? No way, for 'that' price. ...And so I ordered it, and to my surprise, it was exactly as it said. The size is comparable to that of a Stanley box-cutter or about the size of an adult's palm (give or take). Packaging was simple and minimal and perfect for most recycling centres. A box, some bubble wrap, paper instructions and of course the Torch and a handy USB-C cable. Where do I start with this torch? Charging was extremely easy. Plug into your computer, games console or a dedicated charger and you're good to go. The power button acts an an indicator, red means charging and green means its full. Don't leave it longer than it needs to be etc. Once done, you're ready to go! Pressing the power button turns it on with the high beam being the default setting (in my experience). Further quick taps of the power button cycle through the various modes such as dimmed, strobe and SOS blinking pattern. Holding the button down turns it off and keeps the last mode in memory just in case you need to turn it back on suddenly. (Pictures of the instructions are linked with the review) I tested this via a video (which is linked with this review) and with the blackout curtains drawn, it was extremely bright. The phone camera did not do it justice at all...which leads me to its second feature, the zoomable lens. The LED torch has a simple, adjustable lens at the front that out the box has its widest beam. With a simple gentle pull, it extends forward which tightens or shrinks the beam. However, as its tightest and smallest extent, it shrinks to a 'square-like' shape with a circle aura around it. Best bet, in my opinion, is to go midway for that circular beam. In terms of bed bug / pest detection, the whole point of the purchase, it excelled. The long battery life and ease of use and recharge helped massively. While I didn't use the lens adjust feature often and instead just got close, the brightness helped a lot especially against dark areas and materials. I managed to find one against my foldable velvet box in the corner thanks to this alone. I cannot recommend this enough. I’ve been really impressed with these torches! They’re small, lightweight, and pack a powerful punch when it comes to lighting. The fact that they’re rechargeable is a huge bonus, and the battery life lasts forever—I’ve used them a lot and haven’t had to recharge them nearly as often as I expected. I mainly use one lighting mode, but it’s nice to have the options if I need them. They’re perfect for keeping in your bag when walking to the pub on a summer evening, but we mostly use them for letting the dog out in the garden at night. They’re great in low light, and the waterproof feature is really reassuring. Plus, getting two in the pack is a great deal! Highly recommend these torches—they’re super handy and perform really well.

Nach ca einer Woche im gebrauch bin ich wirklich begeistert von dieser superhellen LED-Taschenlampe! Sie bietet einen gleichmäßigen, hellen Lichtstrahl, der den Beleuchtungsbereich deutlich erweitert. Besonders schätze ich die zoombare Funktion, mit der ich den Lichtstrahl je nach Bedarf zwischen Punkt- und Flutlicht anpassen kann. Die Helligkeit gegenüber anderen im gebrauch befindlichen Taschenlampen ist dabei überragend. Die vier verschiedenen Lichtmodi sind für mich eher Spielerei, aber wers braucht ... Die USB-C-Wiederaufladung ist super bequem, und mit der Batteriedauer war ich immer gut versorgt. Ich lasse die Lampe aber auch keiner 12 Stunden am Stück brennen. Das robuste Aluminiumgehäuse macht die Taschenlampe sehr widerstandsfähig, was sie perfekt für den Outdoor-Einsatz macht. Außerdem ist sie leicht, kompakt, passt problemlos in meine Hosentasche ohne zu drücken. Insgesamt ist diese Taschenlampe eine gute Investition für den Alltag und Outdoor-Aktivitäten. Ottima torcia, piccolina, tascabile, la sto usando da una settimana, e ancora devo metterla sotto carica. Fa veramente molta luce, fin troppa per quello che serve a me. Sicuramente i pregi sono la portabilità, in quanto è piccola e il non dover cambiare pile in continuazione. Per il prezzo che ha è davvero ottima, consigliatissimo.
